Ann Coulter

Glorious Hat owner Ann Coulter on PJTV discussing the Bitter Cruzinger phenomenon, the Michelle Fields fraud, the lie that non-Trump voters are anti-Trump voters, and Trump's chances in the general election.

If you are familiar with these topics and my related posts, then you too will find this extremely refreshing.

Is That A Revolver Clip?

This is a Ushanka Tribute post to those American gun owners with a sense of humor.

A few days ago this youth, who is turning his life around, posted a picture of his glok full-automatic revolver with extended clip.  He is not the focus of this tribute post as he probably does not even own that gun.  Nor does he have a sense of humor, as I doubt he'd laugh at even one of my jokes.

These gentlemen, however, are the real 'Mericans.  Bravo gentlemen.  Bravo.

Bonus pic.  Because.

Comrade Tucker's "Crisis of Conscience"

Illinois delegate C. Steven Tucker, a Ushanka Comrade and health insurance professional, pulled his pledge to vote for Ted Cruz last month over the candidate's false description of Donald Trump's plan to replace ObamaCare.  I just found out about this today.

This is BIG news, as Mr. Tucker stayed loyal to his Cruz pledge even after he was disturbed by Cruz's claim that Trump was responsible for the violence in Chicago at a cancelled rally.  I recall at that time he said he would switch his vote to Trump if a second vote were taken at the convention.  Apparently he has lost all patience with Cruz.

Trump in Wisconsin

Donald Trump was in Wisconsin today.  They are having their primary on the 5th, and he has an uphill battle against Cruz.  I guess most people in Wisconsin don't want to make America great again. . .

Our Comrade in the field, Comrade M, was there and he was up close.  This is one of his pictures from today.

An exciting election year!

UPDATED 3.30.16 7am:

This happened outside the event to a violent unwashed Black Lives Matters protester who assaulted a Trump supporter.  Video!

Ushanka Self-Criticism

Boy, was I wrong!

On January 27th I posted this spreadsheet to show how GOP #2 Ted Cruz could win the Republican nomination through endorsements of failed candidates.  The basis for this project were two assumptions:
1) How the drop-outs would line-up behind the finalists, and
2) They'd have the number of delegates their national poll standing showed at that time.
A flawed analysis, yes, but something that would give a general backing to my theory at the time that a #2 Cruz was going to win the nomination.

It is amazing what two months will do!  My assumptions were 22% accurate!  Or as Ted Cruz's campaign staff would say, "78% inaccurate."

Here is the updated spreadsheet, using the March 23 poll data from Quinnipiac, and showing the actual endorsements to date.

Scott Walker endorsed Ted Cruz today.  Walker was out of the race before my January 27 worksheet, as were others.

One deception that I've hit on many times in the 2016 primaries is the falsehood that Ted Cruz is more anti-establishment than Trump.  Rush, Levin and many more have been pushing this lie.

Part of my January 27 post was intended to show how many of the GOPe candidates would back Cruz if Cruz remained #2 into March.   That was true of Bush and Fiorina.

The biggest miss in my predictions was Christie backing Trump.  I never saw that coming and am still shocked.  For me it hurt Trump, as Christie has no conservative bone in his big-boned body, and in my opinion he was one of the key establishment candidates.  I figured accepting Christie's endorsement was Trump's strategic move left in preparation for the general election season.  Regardless, the only endorsements that could hurt Trump more than Christie's would be Glenn Beck's or Mitt Romney's.

As it stands now, Cruz will need to win 85% of the remaining delegates.  The Internet consensus today says the only way he can realistically win the nomination will be to steal it at the convention.

Anyhoo - Let this be a lesson to my three loyal readers.  I'm sharing what I see here, when I see it.  But that doesn't make it right.

Cruz Scandal, Part II

My original post is here.

Too much today to add to the original post, so here it is:

Those of us paying attention in the late 90's have a sensitivity to lying politicians.  Many of us are active in politics today because of the abuse we saw in the late 90's.  Yet some of us are now actively defending that exact same behavior.  Why?

Today's Update:  Mrs. Cruz has been moved to an undisclosed location.  Fiorina has been moved in as the "Cover Wife."

Comrades, Get Off Twitter

Since the National Enquirer broke the #CruzSexScandal - his affairs with five women - I've been making daily trips to Twitter to catch the latest buzz.  I've never had a Twitter account, and after these few days, I never will.

First, Twitter is led by ultra-libs who don't value speech unless it fits their politically-correct views.  That is enough to dump the service.

"But social media is fun," you'll say.  And you are right.  I've enjoyed Facebook for a while now and have made some valuable friends through their site.  But even FB is currently toxic with the in-fighting of Trump and Cruz supporters.  I have had a 0% success rate at having a polite Trump v. Cruz discussion on FB, and I've stopped trying.

Twitter is 10x the toxicity of FB, and this is reason #2 to dump your Twitter account.  Check out national radio host Dana Loesch's tweets in just the past few hours today.  Here is a sample:

Who needs this?  Really?  Go to her page to see endless insults to see why this is no good for anyone.

Dana is a Bitter Cruzinger who will bite your head off if you suggest there is any truth to the Cruz affairs.  As you can see, she plays the protected card, in this case "married women" in reference to girl #5 (Amanda Carpenter) and others rumored to have had affairs with Ted Cruz.  I don't have to be a Trump fan to see that Dana is one extremely nasty person.  Do you?

Twitter's toxicity levels combined with the immediacy of comments and replies are reasons enough to abandon the site.  It is tearing conservatives apart when there are so many reasons to be uniting:
1) Obama is almost out,
2) Trump/Cruz both are more conservative than previous GOP nominees,
3) Bernie is taking the Democrats further left and further into the hole than anyone could have hoped, and
4) the FBI has 147 agents working on Hillary's security breaches at State.
It should be no surprise that the current top-selling placard for Glorious Hat urges "Conservatives of the World, Unite!"

The Rise of Communism

By definition, as an anti-Communist, I am always doing God's work.  How appropriate for this Easter Sunday.

A week ago it was our dear leader trying to cloud the differences between Communism and Capitalism.  He failed.  But we (congress) failed to immediately begin impeachment proceedings.  How far American has fallen.

Then yesterday, there were three Democrat primaries:

Look at these scores!
Alaska - Bernie 82%, Hillary 18%
Hawaii - Bernie 70%, Hillary 30%
Washington - Bernie 73%, Hillary 27%
Hillary and her criminal conspiracy, aka the Clinton Machine, may have the super delegates and thus the nomination in their pocket.  But that is not the will of the marxist masses in America that have become hooked on two things: 1) free stuff, and 2) promises of more free stuff.

The GOP primaries are quite the distraction, and I'm probably more distracted than most.  But the time will come when we, the anti-communist patriots, need to take the field of battle.  It'll be harder this time for at least two reasons: 1) The Democrats are no longer hiding their true beliefs and intentions, and 2) we are fewer and weaker due to the Bitter Cruzinger split in our ranks.

#NeverTrump Pic of the Day

From FB Comrade C. Steven Tucker:

My #NeverTrump post.

Intellectual Froglegs!

Joe Dan's latest just hit the Internet!

Joe Dan hits on one of the most frustrating aspects of the 2016 Republican primaries, at the 4:10 mark:
Rush is clearly a Cruz supporter.  Clearly.

That’s fine.  Fine and dandy.

But, don’t pretend to be objective.
He’s got these little passive-aggressive jabs.  And then he comes to explain to his audience why people support Trump.  And he understands part of it:  ‘He’s resonating with the angry Americans who don’t have a voice in DC.’

And while that is true, it’s not it.
He goes on to explain why.

Trump is a phenomenon in politics, and he's joined by others who are changing how we select our future leaders.  The "Free Stuff" crowd may win in November, and if so it didn't matter who we nominated.  But today the optimism is flowing and I'm enjoying the celebrations of conservatism I see among my comrades and in the new media. If you are involved at any level, I offer a hearty Ushanka Tip to you.

These two are the Diamond and Silk of the Trump movement . . .

Lying Ted's Affairs

The Bitter Cruzingers are getting schlonged today.

I ignored posts with the word "affair" the first 10 times I saw it today on FB.  I figured it was typical noise in a heated election season.  But then I clicked on this ConservativeOutfitters link, then found this ConservativeTreehouse link, which has amassed a ton of information based on the National Enquirer's breaking story.

The National Enquirer posted photos of five ladies.  Some have been identified.  Some are former employees of Cruz.

I immediately tuned into Glenn Beck's show to hear his apology to the nation.  There is no mention of the story.  They are still bashing Trump.

I also went to John Hawkin's Twitter page.  No mention of it.  Here is his most recent post:

Then I went to Dana Loesch's page.  The only mention of it is this re-tweet:

Ben Shapiro apparently knew about this and used his position at Breitbart to keep it from getting out.  And Cruz-PAC money played a role too.  ConservativeTreehouse:
Unfortunately, the truth-tellers ran into the corporate side of the media enterprises.   Breitbart owned by pro-Cruz Super-PAC funder Robert Mercer was one of the roadblocks.  The editor, Ben Shapiro, also now being named as one of the political advocates who would not allow his chosen candidate to be ‘outed”.   Shapiro is also the Editor of The Daily Wire, which is also owned by a Pro-Cruz Super-PAC team, The Wilks Brothers.
And now the $500k given to Fiorina from a Cruz PAC makes sense. Apparently a Fiorina staffer is one of the five ladies.

Apparently the rumors of affairs came out of the Trump Rubio camp starting on March 10th under the Twitter code, #thething.

Updates to follow. . .

UPDATED 10:30am:

Nothing on Drudge, Breitbart or FoxNews yet.

But Amanda Carpenter's Twitter page is a gold mine. Some have suggested Mrs.(!) Carpenter is girl #5 in the lineup above.  A prolific Twitterer, she has been offline for 15 hours now.  She started a list of Trump supporters over at Mark Levin's site, Conservative Review: Blackballing Those Who Endorse Trump.  Some selected tweets from Amanda's page, from her and from critics:

That's probably true.

I found this in the comments section at Conservative Treehouse:

UPDATED 11:30am:

When Bill heard the news:

UPDATED 12:15pm:

Katrina Pierson has been identified as one of the five.  She denies it.

Fair enough.  This is the National Enquirer, and they have made mistakes in the past.

And I'm cherry-picking at #CruzSexScandal:

UPDATED 2:40pm:

More [non] denials:
Amanda Carpenter, on CNN (Video).
Ted Cruz - GP.

UPDATED 6pm:

The Daily Mail is the first old-media site to run with the story.  A comprehensive article that includes Cruz's and Trump's statements.

Radio host and Trump supporter, Michael Savage, said he'd drop Trump if Trump is connected to the story.  I think Savage speaks for all Trump supporters there.  We might be just as vocal as the Cruz types, but we aren't the bitter clingers you see among the Bitter Cruzingers, all(?) of who have circled the wagons around Cruz today.

And Comrade Matt Forney shares this on FB:
I enjoy the fact that Ted Cruz's fanboys are denying his infidelity by saying he's too big of a loser to get laid.
I joined Matt in Iowa during the caucus.  He had spent two weeks there going to all the candidate's events.  I was leaning Trump at the time and asked Matt about his impressions of Cruz.  Matt told me Cruz was the only candidate - D or R - that gave him an "unclean vibe" when he walked into the room.

UPDATED 11pm:

Day #1 is over.  What will tomorrow bring?

Karl Denninger, an unapologetic Trump supporter, rants the facts and the double standards:
So there is far less connection, in point of fact, between The Enquirer and Trump than there is between your supporting SuperPac and you.

Yet you claim that Trump is responsible for what a newspaper publishes, while at the same time you refuse to take responsibility for what the SuperPAC supporting you publishes.
Bill Still says the number of mistresses is now eight, and shows the matching tattoos.

UPDATED 3.26.16 4pm:

Our comrades at The Black Brigade podcast used this post as their podcast outline today.  A great discussion everyone should listen to.  Reasoned, mature, and educational - now on Ushanka's Blogroll.

The Cruz scandal discussion starts at the 25 minute mark.

UPDATED 3.26.16 8pm:

I've asked Bitter Cruzingers how they plan to 'walk back' their over-loyal championing of Cruz and recover their credibility.  For example, what does Glenn Beck have to do to win back my trust after calling me a "brown shirt," and saying that I'm not a Christian if I don't vote for Cruz?  I've suggested their best course of action is to delete all their posts, videos, and statements praising Ted Cruz.  Then ask Google to delete those same items from their servers.  Then the NSA.  Then bloggers like me who post screenshots of said adulation.

It isn't the Bitter Cruzingers doing it, but the scrubbing has started.

New developments at #CruzSexScandal.  Twitter is deleting #CruzSexScandal tweets by the thousands.  It remains the #1 hashtag nonetheless.

And girl #5, Amanda Carpenter, has started deleting items that link her and Ted Cruz:

Imagine how kick-ass this post would be if I weren't such a low-information voter. . .

UPDATED 3.27.16 2pm:

Found during my now daily scan of Twitter.  From 2014:

UPDATED 3.28.16 11am:

Girl #5 is back online.  All is back to normal.  And the #1 reason to vote for Cruz: Trump still sucks.

It appears the possibility of multiple lives destroyed by this non-scandal was overblown and the rumors completely false.

Only two things left:
1) the mother of all lawsuits that will send the National Enquirer into oblivion, and
2) the release of the rumored video showing Ted Cruz entering and leaving various hotels with girls #'s 1-5.
A brave FB Comrade and Cruz supporter shared this today.  Keep the faith comrade!

UPDATED 3.28.16 2pm:

Girl #5: More evidence, or cruel photoshop prank?

UPDATED 3.28.16 10pm:

Girl #5 says photo (link above in 2pm update) is photoshopped.  She is also attacking Trump's communications director for "harassment" and "smearing my reputation."

No mention of the man's shirt in the chair behind here.  But to be fair, Twitter limits the message size.

The real reason for this update:

GP has a source that suggests the NE story was intentionally overkill so that when facts come out that only one of the five girls is linked to an affair with Cruz, it'll appear minor and will be easily dismissed as a "mistake."  The source thinks Cruz will admit to this single affair after the Wisconsin primary which is April 5th.

UPDATED 3.29.16 8:30am:

I've started a new post on this topic.  Cruz Scandal, Part II.
