Sunday Afternoon Cigar

My last Rocky Patel Sun Grown.  I'll have to raid the Glorious Hat petty cash this week...

I'm reading Comrade Ann Sterzinger's book, NVSQVAM.  I'll be posting a review here shortly.

Stumping the NeverTrumps

I'm back from the DNC Convention.  See my convention posts and videos here.

The latest Stump the Trump video, with powerful clips (starting at the 6:35 mark) from the nominee's convention speech.

Here is a list of BitterCruzingers and NeverTrumpers who did everything they could, including burning their credibility on the alter of "My opinion is super important" or "Do as I say or you're not a conservative" or "Hillary will crush him," to keep us from hearing that speech.  Bad judgement and selfish behavior, one and all:

Comrade Chapin, explaining "Why Trump?" from a rare Libertarian perspective to those who still don't get it:

IMO, why Libertarians won't be a concern in 2016:
a) Their anarchist impulses are satiated by Trump, who has turned the GOP on its head,
b) The Libertarian ticket has an open-borders pot-head presidential candidate and a gun-control VP candidate - hardly "Libertarian," and
c) Trump's crossover voters, if they hold, will overcome any spoiler attempt from fringe third-parties.

The Facebook Murders

An 18-year old man of Iranian nationality Syrian Islamist Pro-Turkey, Ali Daud Sonboly, killed nine and wounded 27 on Friday in Munich.

The media (WGN) will tell you Ali's actions had no known link to radical Islamic terror.  This was also true in San Bernardino, until those killers' pledges to ISIS were found on Facebook.  And sure enough, this source has corrected the record on where Ali's allegiance lies.

The Munich shooter yelled "Allahu Akbar," but what does that actually mean to those of us without law enforcement training?

Ali aimed for children.  Eight of the nine dead were between 14 and 20.

Placing Blame:

McDonald's - No.  Ali chose to do his killing in a McDonald's.  Not the first time that poor corporation has been selected by evil men.

Merkel - yes.  Apparently Ali was previously identified by Interpol as a radical.

Facebook - yes.  Ali used Facebook to lure the children to McDonald's with promises of free food.  How many were there because of his offer is not clear.  But what is clear is Facebook's embrace of radical Islam specifically, and political correctness in general, has enabled ISIS and other anti-West forces to grow.  The use of their site to spread Jihad was inevitable based on Facebook's pro-Islam political correctness.

I've written about recent and unfair censorship by the Facebook corporation, and others, against my fellow conservatives.  Like America's national security agencies, Facebook is looking in the wrong places for problems.  Facebook, like the FBI, missed the ISIS pledges from the San Bernardino killers - for a year.  And I'll bet a Glorious Hat that Facebook missed warning signs from Ali.

Stefan Molyneux provides an overview (25mins):

Cincinnati Beats Chicago!

No, not baseball.  The Cubbies have been spanking the Reds all season.

Cincinnati is beating Chicago in death and destruction. At least this week.

So far this weekend, my home town of Cincinnati has 10 shot with 3 dead

My original home town, Chicago, only has 9 shot with one dead.

Cincinnati's population is only 11% of Chicago's, but both are in decline thanks to years of Democrat Party management.

Matt Gets the Race Card!

Comrade Matt Forney was in Cleveland this week to cover the Republican Convention for Right-On and RedIce.tvhttps://redice.tv/.

One of the things he covered was the absence of civil unrest.  The city was braced for riots, yet the liberals progressives communists didn't even try to disrupt the event or cause problems in the area around the convention center.  Matt's daily reports:

Wednesday: All Quiet on the MidWestern Front.

Thursday: What if They Held a Riot and Nobody Brought any Matches?

So if Matt is bored, imagine the leftists in the MSM.  Are they going to announce the "GOP is in Disarray" because we booed the sore loser, Cruz?  That is hardly a story, nor a surprise.  It isn't like the Republicans booed God or anything...

So they needed something.  And when liberals needs a story, or are losing an argument, they always go for the race card.  And this week, none other than Comrade Matt was their target!

Check out these headlines!

Media Matters:

Slate:

Think Progress:

The Race Card isn't sticking to Trump.  And worse, nothing seems to stick to Trump.  Imagine the desperation!

The Liberals Progressives Communists are in two camps right now: 1) those who think Utopia is just one more push away but who think someone else will do that pushing, and 2) those who are starting to realize what they will lose when Trump is elected.  Soon, all will be in the latter stage, and that will be when things get sporty.

So is Comrade Forney a Grand Kleagle?  Is his outspoken intolerance for feminists and other leftist trends a sign of hidden racism?

It just so happens that my wife, Catherine the Great, and I had dinner with Matt just last week.

Twice.

I showed Catherine the Great these articles and she was as disgusted, and as amused, as I was.  Because the three of us discussed many topics, all controversial, for hours over Chicago pizza one night and bar food the next.  And we did not hear a single utterance from Matt that would convey any hint of racist thought.

Let me tell you how this will play out.  Matt is a master of the English language and will use this new publicity to trigger those little Democrat brains that have never been challenged with a single critical thought.  He will ride this to new heights and riches, and they will always think they are one 'gotcha' away from tying Matt Forney around Trump's neck and bringing it all down.  In other words, if Matt can keep himself on the front page, he'll be the new king of political journalism:

I didn't think it could happen, but this election year just got even more exciting!

Question:  So what does this mean for the libs?

Answer: the left is fucked this year.

They are running on empty.  Hope, Change, the Dictatorship of the Proletariat, the Chevy Volt, the  $20T in debt and more has left them exhausted. Black Lives Matters has gone flaccid as they can no longer enjoy police protection at their rallies.  The anarchists can't seem to bring themselves out of Mom's basement to smash a window or burn a flag.  And next week the DNC convention will be an epic flop.  Chelsea isn't Ivanka, Hillary isn't The Donald, and 20% less voters than in 2012 isn't momentum. Cops, miners, former Democrats, and previous non-voters will be lining up on November 8th to Make America Great Again.

If we're going to point out racism, let's point to congresswoman Shelia Jackson Lee.  She posted this photo of Democrat interns today - with all the cracker interns in back.  (Story)

UPDATED 7.23.16 1pm:

If you repeat a lie enough, it becomes the truth.  Or, at least that is what liberal products of the public school system think.

The term "racism"
went from meaning hating other races
to not hating your own race.

Indeed.

The BitterCruzinger Speaks

Bitter bitter bitter Cruz.

He represents his devoted followers, the BitterCruzingers and the #NeverTrumpers, as well as they represent him.  You'd think if they could all move to some deserted island together, everybody would be happy.  But they wouldn't stay, would they?  Their little secret: they can't exist without us.

Some are saying he was booed off stage by a bunch of low-information voters.  It doesn't look like that at all.  He said what he came to say.

But it isn't what he said, it is what he didn't do.  He didn't endorse his Party's record-setting choice for nominee.  Can you think of another second-place finisher in either party who didn't endorse the winner?  I can't.  Another symptom of an America in decline.

Conservative Treehouse had a post yesterday praising Trump for his decision to let this bitter man speak.  I agree, a brilliant move.  Cruz could come out as a team-player and [maybe] undo some of the damage he's done to his image and to the Party.  Or, he could come out and speak his conscious and remind everybody what a bitter little man he really is.  CT:
When Cruz speaks tonight at the convention his audience is those same annoying gnats; and hilariously he doesn’t have any way to avoid it.

In essence what Trump has done is put Senator Ted Cruz into a position where he either supports Trump (not requested), or is left to showcase the minute scale of his rabid gnat following.   It’s a brilliant maneuver by Trump based on the fundamental truism that was evident in the primary:
The more voters got to see and hear Senator Cruz, the more his support actually, and factually, diminished.
In defeat, and with this reality evident, Senator Cruz had only one option to try and retain any hope of remaining relevant in the future – disappear.   He did.

But Donald Trump is smart enough to know the way to marginalize Cruz -as a future oppositional entity- is to embrace him, to drag him back out into the spotlight and provide him the opportunity to display the scope of support that Trump has already, and correctly, gauged as inconsequential.

As Comrade Ann Sterzinger said back in early May:
We really, really dodged a bullet here, gang...
 Dan Riehl, on twitter:
Never said he had to support Trump I said Cruz should have stayed home with the rest of the sore losers
FB Comrade Tracy shares:

photo Ted Cruz Im An Ass_zpso6khreax.gif

IOTW has a long comment thread on Cruz's speech.  AbigailAdams:
What a total ass Cruz is. The whole day up ’til a few minutes ago was looking and sounding fabulous at the convention. You could see, after the earlier speakers today, that the mood had really shifted and gaining momentum toward a unified front.

Cruz came in and acted like a drunk uncle at your Christmas dinner.
Maybe not the drunk uncle, but instead Grampa Jack McGee....

UPDATED 10:10am:

So I asked above if there ever was a #2 who didn't endorse, and I've seen talk on FB that Reagan did not endorse Ford.  If so, then I see Cruz trying to be Reaganesque and not endorsing Trump.  Makes sense, right?  Dan Riehl, again on Twitter, says otherwise:
Cruz tried a Reagan 76, but it was Reagan vs GOPe Ford. Trump's not GOPe. That's Cruz's miscalculation. Would have worked vs GOPe nominee
I think Dan is partly right.  I think Cruz's personality is another flaw.  He has far more character issues than Reagan ever did.

The comments from current and former Cruz supporters on FB today are about 75% negative towards Cruz. Most have made the adjustment to the General Election and have decided to vote for Trump.  Either they are seeing things they like about Trump, or they at least know their vote is a vote against Hillary.

As biased as I know I am here, my objective self is still unclear how Cruz thinks he can walk back on the national stage after his primary and convention behavior. He'll be like Ron Paul - a dull man with a small, yet angry and energetic following.

UPDATED 11:30am:

FB Comrade Andrea Shea-King shared this quote from Lame Cherry:
I am stunned after observing Ted Cruz, for Donald Trump provided Mr. Cruz the golden microphone to set Cruz's future, and for some reason, Ted Cruz wrapped his neck in the cord, jumped off the stage, and then beat himself to death.

UPDATED 2pm:

FB Comrade Ellis shared this.   The time it took me to share it with you was 0.00000000035 seconds.  Sorry for the wait.

Quote of the Day

Gay conservative activist, Milo Yiannopoulos, said yesterday after his lifetime Twitter account suspension:
With the cowardly suspension of my account, Twitter has confirmed itself as a safe space for Muslim terrorists and Black Lives Matter extremists, but a no-go zone for conservatives.

Twitter is holding me responsible for the actions of fans and trolls using the special pretzel logic of the left.

Like all acts of the totalitarian regressive left, this will blow up in their faces, netting me more adoring fans. We’re winning the culture war, and Twitter just shot themselves in the foot.

This is the end for Twitter. Anyone who cares about free speech has been sent a clear message: you’re not welcome on Twitter.

The Redistribution Is On the Other Foot

Typing this will take longer than I've given to the story today about Mrs. Trump's speech last night.  I guess her speech had some duplicate text from a speech by our dear leader's spouse.

The liberals progressives communists are upset.  Or, probably, they are just acting upset to distract from the great message coming out of the RNC Convention.

I've not been a fan of redistribution as you may know.  But I'm coming around.

Maybe Trump can make Redistribution a main campaign theme.  Some ideas:

Redistribute Integrity
Redistribute Honor
Redistribute Pride in Country
Redistribute Strength to our Military
Redistribute The White House

Back in 5...

Posts will be few - traveling.

Hint:

In the meantime, check out the links in my blogroll at the left.  Those are some smart f**kers.

UPDATED 7.18.16 6:30pm:

I take off for a few days to venture into the center of the universe (Wrigley Field) and watch some Cubs victories, and I come back to....

Some Muslim kills 84 in France with a truck.

The feminist Ghost Busters movie is a flop as predicted by Comrades Clarey and Forney.

The terrorist wings of the racist Democrat Party (Black Lives Matters, Nation of Islam, and Black Panthers) kill more cops - this time in Baton Rouge.

A half-assed coup fails in Turkey, which helps ISIS.  And Obama.

The #NeverTrump losers keep at it ("it" being looking stupid on the national stage).  This time on Day #1 of the RNC Convention.  I hope they keep trying.

Trump selected Mike Pence for VP.
Comrade Forney produces another outstanding interview in today's Alt-Right Podcast.  This time with Ricky Vaughn.

Some Muslim on a German train hacks 21 with an axe.

Another Baltimore police officer was acquitted after being hit with excessive indictments to buy favor with the criminal class.

I had the honor to visit with Comrades Mr. B. from In the Middle of the Right and Matt Forney on this trip.

Give me another day to catch up.

Kuntzman

Gersh Kuntzman is a New York Daily News reporter who took one for the team last month with his article:  What is it like to fire an AR-15? It’s horrifying, menacing and very very loud.

The Democrats have a big election battle coming up, and they need to keep the topic of gun-control front and center.  Why?  I don't know and neither do they.  It is a loser of a political position everywhere, but the need to double down on stupidity is an impulse liberals rarely suppress.

The memes hit the Internet like locusts on the windshield of Skeeter's pickup truck.  I purposely waited for this post to be sure I collected the best.

Comrades, enjoy:

Bernie Falls Into Line

On Tuesday, Bernie Sanders endorsed Hillary, disappointing about 15% of his supporters who will complain until they're told that the November election could lead to limited reproductive rights...

Bit Ushanka Prediction: On Nov. 8th, everybody who wants free stuff will vote for Hillary.

Until then we can have some fun.  Here are some gems I found on the Interwebs:
