Guest Post: A Rant by Samuel

FB Comrade Samuel posted this rant yesterday.  We're due for a Gun Rights post, and he has given me permission to share with the masses.

It's rant time.

Understand: there aren't enough federal troops to disarm America. They couldn't do it even If the federal and state governments enlisted a million stormtroopers. Train up time takes too long and no one would volunteer to take guns away from people who are going to shoot back. Government leaders would be killed in the process, and it would be too painful for all involved.

THERE AREN'T ENOUGH OF THEM AND THEY CAN'T BEAR THE PAIN. So it's just not going to happen any time soon.

What's been happening and what will continue to happen is that they train future generations of Americans (not to mention the dilution that's already occurring) to hate Liberty because it's dangerous and hate capitalism because it's unfair. You brainwash a few generations (ahem, just look around) and pretty soon you have a lot more anti-gunners than you do pro-gunners, which is where we're headed.

Rinse and repeat with plenty of bread and circuses and they will inherit their revolution without a single shot. The most boisterous trouble makers will be arrested for terrorism and they'll pursue everyone else through lawfare - taxes, drivers licenses, financial assets.

And what you're going to end up with are conclaves of Marxist States and Free States. I really don't think there are going to be mass force-on-force shots fired until Free State leaders recognize in public that we live in two separate nations and that we're better off apart. We'll secede or Balkanize, and then there might be a fight, given that the federal government can finance and staff an invasion.

But there will not be any nationwide gun confiscation. There may be laws passed in some states, but it will not occur in all. So it's going to be damn near impossible for anyone to disarm a Free State willing to put up or shut up in defense of the Second Amendment.

There are too many of us right now, but in another few generations, that may not be the case. Still, as Claire Wolfe has said, it's too late to work within the system and too early to shoot the bastards. The best thing you can be doing now is building Tribe and getting prepared to live in a Third World country, because that's exactly where we're headed.
