North Korea's Subway System

EarthNutShell has posted some excellent photos of the Pyongyang subway system.  Theirs was the first foreign visit to these subway stations. 

I am amazed and impressed with the art and decor in each station.  I am not surprised by the cleanliness and manners, two attributes of Korean culture I saw first hand in my visit to South Korea years ago.  The national pride is striking.

Not every penny is spent on nuclear warheads and missiles.
