Unexpected

More unexpected news today from The Miami Herald:

President Hugo Chávez’s cancer is spreading faster than expected and his doctors fear that he may have only a few months left to live, a former U.S. government official said Wednesday, citing sources inside the Venezuelan government.

It is nice to get some good news every once in a while.

Did you know there are food lines in Venezuela now, and stores are rationing their sales?

Such a shame that the news coverage today and going forward will be about Chavez and his cancer rather than the suffering of the Venezuela people. It is as if the liberals progressives communists in our media do not want us to know about the failures of Socialism.

What other reason would they have for not telling us of a nation which has the wealth and means to feed its people is failing to do just that?
