A Quiet May Day
The local LA radio hosts are saying LAPD did two things to reduce the tensions: 1) close off the streets in the rally area, as the problems from previous years started with anarchists blocking traffic, and 2) LAPD using a loud speaker system that broadcasts common police commands in the 90+ languages of LA. Goodness...
