Remember Comrades, this new year is the Bolshevik Centennial.
They had planned for the big come-back this year here in the States, but 'missed it by that much.' Which cracks me up.
Until next year...

Right Action. Wrong Reason.
ZH: The US (Obama) expelled 35 Russian diplomats today.
Don't take my word for it. Read "Red Notice" by Bill Browder. (Amazon Link. My March 2015 Review.) Bill's story is shocking because it happened within the last 60 years.
There aren't many things worse than the leadership of that backward country, but a petty lame-duck President who doesn't realize he and his ilk have also been told to GTFO is one of them.

Yep.
As promised (or threatened), the Obama administration has unveiled - via the US Treasury - new sanctions against Russia over election hacking allegations (that as yet have not been supported by any actual evidence). Despite president-elect Trump's comments that "we ought to get on with our lives," the sanctions apply to five entities and six individuals, and also including the expulsion of 35 Russian diplomats and closing two Russian compounds in New York and Maryland in response to a campaign of harassment against American diplomats in Moscow, a senior U.S. official said on Thursday. The less Russians in the US, the better. The Russian government is a criminal conspiracy led by the king thug himself. They may have dropped the Communism, but the sticky fingers remain.

Hillary. Alone.
Hillary was spotted alone at 11am this morning in an upstate NY restaurant troubleshooting her cell phone.
Rumor has it her cell phone was recently hacked by the Russians.
We recommend she use a hammer on it.

Builders of Socialism
English Russia has posted a gallery of paintings titled: Visual Arts of the USSR: The Builders of Socialism. The Hope and Change was strong with these artists!
Here is one from 1967, "The new quarter" by Titov Yaroslav Viktorovich:
For comparison, here are the 'builders of socialism' today:

Not News
When this is the top headline on Drudge, what more evidence do we need to prove that Trump has already come through on his promise to Make America Great Again?

Glorious Hat Pic
Reiuxcat, over at All The Right Snark, is sporting the latest placard on his Glorious Hat:
Remember, Friday is the last day for Glorious Hat sales.
The factory workers and I have started boxing the excess hats in preparation for a charity.

Saturday Afternoon Cigar
I smoked a Palmetto that I recently picked-up in Charleston. I'm still making my way through the Clancy books and am about 30% through #7, Debt of Honor. Good stuff.
Sunday is probably the last day to order a Glorious Hat and get it in time for Christmas. Orders of three hats or more ship Priority Mail, so orders as late as Tuesday AM should arrive on time.

North Korea Employment
Good News from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea!
Like the US, North Korea is experiencing incredible economic growth. The US unemployment rate is 4.9%, and -2.5% in North Korea. Prosperity is so out of control here in the States that just yesterday the Federal Reserve Bank announced the second rate increase (in ten years).
There is so much to do in the worker's paradise (N. Korea, not the US) that the children must do their part for the greater good. The Mirror has that story, with photos.
And The Daily Mail today has an article about the ushanka-wearing traffic ladies who have automated the role of the country's obsolete traffic lights.
It would not be much of a stretch to think the North Koreans are considering an expansion Southward to acquire more labor and... lebensraum.

I Said "No"
Senator Warren once offered to give me her Twitter account in exchange for a bottle of whiskey.
I told her "No. And keep typing."
I've been sipping that whiskey and laughing my ass off ever since.
Yep, but only if you're American-Indian.
Oh. And this is what free speech looks like.

Ayn Rand Fans
WP: Ayn Rand-acolyte Donald Trump stacks his cabinet with fellow objectivists.
Despite this article being a hit-piece against my favorite author Ayn Rand and her fans (still bitter over the election?), it is news nonetheless that our President-Elect and many of his appointees are followers of Ms. Rand.
The president-elect said this spring that he’s a fan of Rand and identifies with Howard Roark, the main character in “The Fountainhead.” Roark, played by Gary Cooper in the film adaptation, is an architect who dynamites a housing project he designed because the builders did not precisely follow his blueprints. “It relates to business, beauty, life and inner emotions. That book relates to ... everything,” Trump told Kirsten Powers for a piece in USA Today.I take issue with the title linking Rand's Objectivism with Trump and his appointees. The author fails to make this connection. One can enjoy the most perfect of books without adopting an author's religion, rejection of religion, ideology, or any other personal attribute. Ms. Rand is my favorite author and I do not consider myself an Objectivist.
Perhaps columnist James Hohmann's smear of Ayn Rand is out of jealousy, in addition to the election results from last month. I would assume all authors envy the fan-base of Ayn Rand, whose work has gained followers over seven decades. Alas, some writers both make and change history. Others just post noise to old-media websites to avoid working a real job.
My favorite book on the planet is Atlas Shrugged.
My third favorite: The Fountainhead.
A top ten: We the Living.

#MAGA Idea #4
We all have our own idea of what Make America Great Again (#MAGA) means.
Here is another one of mine:
Trump is not a zero-sum leader. Other countries can choose to improve themselves too.
For example, Comrade Zhukov and I came up with this one:
By definition, the only group that considers themselves harmed when Trump 'Makes America Great Again' are those who voted against making America great again (aka: The Democrat Party, Democrat voters, and people too lazy to go vote for Democrats.)
However. . . if Trump's promises of new jobs, better jobs and better security are met, then - also by definition - even those against making America great again will benefit more than if their candidate had won.
This is just bias-free logic.

The Last Case of Glorious Hats
The Glorious Hat Factory is closing down on the 23rd, and we are now filling orders from our last case of Glorious Hats.
Ask your computer to take you to the Glorious Hat website. But don't be surprised if it asks you: "What would a computer do with a Glorious Hat?"
You may use your Glorious Hat for ransom. Or not.
Well Comrade? What will it be?
