Wednesday Afternoon Cigar

Rocky Patel Edge.

iUnimpressed

Big event today!  But the DC protest against the idiotic Obama-Iran deal was dwarfed by Apple's product announcements instead.

I watched the play-by-play at MacRumors, and I have to say I was not impressed.  Nor was the market.  Guess where on this MW graph the midday Apple event started . . .

The era of Steve Jobs is dead.  It is now typical Moore's Law upgrades to the product line and, of course, the homosexual agenda.

I've been watching Apple's quality go the way of the Democrat Party.  Declining, and banking on follower loyalty to keep momentum alive.

Today I click on any browser link on my iMac and then get to watch a spinning ball.  As if my computer is waiting for my NSA minder to authorize the chosen webpage for viewing.

And I'm unable to buy music on iTunes at the moment.  Step 1: I click "buy" and am prompted to authorize the computer.  Step 2: I authorize the computer, then click "buy."  Step 3: I'm then prompted to authorize the computer.

Apple's software quality control group is saving me boat loads of money!

I'm two months away from trading in my iPhone for an Android phone.  I have done the research for the transition, and I will only be inconvenienced in how I carry over my iTunes music library.  Of course, after today's announcements I will be foregoing a phone charging dock in a color that matches my phone.  Sucks to be me!

And the Apple Watch?  No.  That would be a major downgrade.  I wear something far more impressive on my wrist than that.

While Apple upstaged the Iran event in DC today, the events do have one thing in common: homosexuality.  Although, Apple's approach is quite trivial and disingenuous as you'd expect from a company led by liberals.  At least those at the Iranian event are approaching the topic in a more serious manner.  (source)

Full Disclosure: This post was typed on a PC laptop.

UPDATED 8pm:

Today's announcements were a collection of items that Steve Jobs shot down as being outside of the Company's laser focus on innovation. No Steve Jobs = no focus.

The announcement I would have preferred today:
We are rolling back MacOS, iTunes and iOS 4 versions each.
Too harsh?

And Drudge gets it:

Book Review: Death of the Family

Book Review: Death of the Family by Christopher J. Green.  2015, 244 pages.

http://www.deathofthefamily.com/

I used to watch a movie from the 40’s and just see black and white.  Now when I watch, I see an era that has come and gone.  Where family and religious values resulted in strong couples and communities, which in turn produced strong children and a strong country.  We can point to many reasons, but in my Ushanka studies I have boiled it all down to one core and deliberate cause: Marxism.

The effects of Marxism on our culture is the focus of a new book, Christopher J. Green’s Death of the Family.  I am adding this book to the Ushanka library, and recommend it to those who want a deeper understanding of how America has fallen so low.  The book is targeted primarily at single or divorced men in their 20’s and 30’s who either know, or sense, a problem in relationships today.  About 90% covers the ‘how,’ and the other 10% offers advice on how to have a fulfilling life while navigating this new terrain.

Something has happened in the past 80 years.  Read Death of the Family to understand it was designed, not accidental.  Green walks you through the thousand cuts that produced a culture where most relationships are doomed.  He’ll tell you the key players that made this happen, and under what banners they marched.  He explains their tactics, and the resulting dilution of traditional family values and religious values.

Mr. Green contacted me and asked for this review.  I asked if it was because of my reviews of Comrade Aaron Clarey’s books, such as Bachelor Pad Economics.  He was unaware of Clarey’s books.  I found so much to compare between the two.  They are both men who have struggled with the flawed assumption that a good woman was out there who would make a permanent partner.  They both are brilliant in comprehending what they are seeing: the root causes such as feminism, the feminization of man, and social engineering.  Where they differ: Clarey’s books are heavy on advice with scattered connections to the influence of liberalism, whereas Death of the Family is heavy on the different faces and tactics of Marxism and lighter on the advice to young men.

Death of the Family is a spectacular research project.  It covers an area I’ve been studying for over a decade now, and most of the book was new material for me.  This isn’t a light book.  While relatively short, only a serious student will make it through Death of the Family.  But that student will have the answers.  That student will know the link between Mao and Feminism, and why the deck is stacked against men.

Smuggling In Venuzuela

IOTW posts the story of this bourgeoisie criminal who was caught smuggling forbidden powdered milk into Venezuela.

I'd be ashamed too!

IOTW, if you didn't know, is an excellent site with some of the funniest and most creative followers - many of them owners of Glorious HatHead over there and check out the comments on any odd story.  Here are a couple from the story above:

Only under communist rule can "got milk" be turned into a criminal offense.

I hear milk is a gateway nutrient.  Next they'll be wanting meat and vegetables!

My Home Town

Cincinnati has a fireworks festival every Labor Day weekend.  Several Ushanka operatives attended last night.  They all saw the city's unsupervised urban youth.  One may have more to report, so watch for an update to this post.

Our Democrat Mayor, John Cranley:

Our Police Chief, Jeffery Blackwell:

Our Republican Prosecutor, Joseph Deters:

Our citizens, emboldened by the gentlemen above, the President of the United States, and Democrat Party polices of racism and white guilt, courtesy author Colin Flaherty:

My latest article: Cincinnati's Race Problem.

UPDATED 9.9.15 2pm:

Comrade Dimitri just told me that Chief Blackwell was fired today!  Cincinnati.com (warning: pop-up hell):
Cincinnati Police Chief Jeffrey Blackwell was fired Wednesday after months of criticism and missteps – a botched anti-crime plan, low morale in the officer ranks and a travel schedule that earned him the nickname “ghost.”
---
Blackwell’s exit comes amid a sharp increase in shootings and a rise in violent crime.

City crime data from Jan. 1 to Aug. 22, the most recent data available, show serious crimes citywide increased 3 percent from 2014 to 2015. Violent crime is up 3 percent from 2014 to 2015 through Aug. 22, going from 1,462 crimes to 1,511. Shootings have gone from 236 in 2014 to 307 in 2015 – a 30.1 percent increase.

Firing a police chief is a bold move.  I'm impressed.

UPDATED 9.9.15 6pm:

Dimitri was one of the Ushanka operatives in town for the fireworks show.  Here is his report:
Aliosha and I, Dmitri, were enjoying a little fireworks Fireworks a little alcohol beverages, some nice dinner in fancy restaurant, and little nightlife in downtown Cincinnati especially walking through new beautiful park along Ohio River.  Aliosha was having a good time on first visit to Cincinnati downtown let me tell you.  We walked up few blocks passing the national Freedom Center Museum ...a shrine to black suffering and the likely perpetuation of powerful white guilt, and were drawn to the beautiful iconic fountain Fountain of the Genius of Water at Fountain Square on 5’th St., a shrine to workers and farmers.

We continue walking away from the crowded square and passed several policemen and continued north on Vine.  Our goal was to walk seven blocks up just past 12’th St..  About half way and on dark sidewalk we had a half dozen or so youths walk out in front of us full of energy and inner group quasi loud banter.  We were left alone unengaged and unprovoked.  Simple street smarts, we continued walking not stopping for the red lights so to keep distancing ourselves from the loitering group we ran across at the library.  Later we see video from comrade Karl and realize to our surprise – these were the same guys!  Wow that was close call. Aliosha does not want to go back to downtown Cincinnati ever now.

We walked along Vine St. back to housing in trendy OTR district  (Over the Rhine).  I don’t know but ‘trendy’ seems like scary.  Notice the actual storage furniture found in this fashionable fabulous fourth floor loft.  Rhine (OTR) reference back to German immigrant workers who built the neighborhood.

Please forgive drifting story but early in day my bicycle had been stolen there in downtown in OTR while locked to car.  The cable that secured it had been cut with some wire cutting tool.  This was while I carried our bags up to our trendy OTR district loft housing unit and before I could move it into the high security garage.  Ugh!  Black market criminals are alive and well here in Cincinnati OTR.  You might think It’s bad here it’s bad there what’s big deal?   – ...it’s definitely bad THERE

The 2016 DNC Strategy

The 2016 DNC Strategy, in a nutshell:

Promise to fix the problems
created by Democrat Party policies

For example:
1) Create the worst employment situation the nation has ever faced, then sell yourself as the only candidate in 2016 who can fix it.  Today's Drudge:

2) Spark and feed a nationwide race war, then sell yourself as the only candidate in 2016 who can fix it.  See my latest article: Cincinnati's Race Problem.

3) Allow like-minded totalitarian regimes (China and Russia) and movements (ISIS) to wage destabilizing economic, cyber and even hot war, then sell yourself as the only candidate in 2016 who can fix it.
If I were advising the Democrats, I'd endorse this exact strategy.  Why?
First, they have over three generations of voters who were indoctrinated in the public government schools.  It appears this will be another election where critical thought and historical references will be absent.
Second, the Democrats have a majority of voters that are either in financial distress and will be open to irresponsible spending or even outright redistribution, or they are government workers.
Third, it works.  It has worked in Detroit.  It is working in California.  And if allowed to continue, it will work at the national level next November.

Some predictions:
If the election gets tight, watch for seemingly extreme [yet empty] Democrat promises for "common sense measures" to fix Planned Parenthood, domestic spying, and even spending.

The old-media strategies will be the same: 1) "The Democrat is smarter," 2) "The Democrat candidate comes out ahead in a thorough, side-by-side comparison of the important issues," 3) "We just can't get behind someone who might restrict women's access to health care."  And watch for the old favorite strategy meant to deflate the GOP base: to judge the GOP candidate's past or flaws from a religious or traditional family values perspective.

Biden is only running because Hillary has failed to inspire.  If Biden fails to inspire too, watch the Democrat Party scramble to recruit another 'dark horse' like Starbucks CEO Schultz.

The Democrat Party's efforts to restrict access to their candidates will continue.  The DNC debates have been put off, and will likely be reduced further.  Establishment candidates Hillary and Biden (not Bernie Sanders) will have rare media and public events to restrict mistakes and honest answers to their intentions.  A common excuse will be the candidate's safety, and as always, numerous yet unsubstantiated death threats will be referenced.
If Bernie Sanders is nominated, I will sell a ton of Glorious Hats!

Happy Labor Day

Citizens!  Today we celebrate those who toil for the greater good!

Coexisting in France

GP posted this video of the immigrant outreach going on in France by their most enlightened citizens.  They've ignored the leak in the dike there for decades, and now there is a full breach in the wall.

There is only one solution to the mass invasion of these bipedal locusts into Europe.

I suspect the Europeans will form a committee - a "European Union" per se - to determine if the remaining threads of sovereignty among their individual states is worth the price of blood. They'll go to the UN, come up with some half-measures that go nowhere, then finally blame the US.

I'd put their probability of survival at 0.1.

A Glorious Hat owner is the artist behind this image:

I recently reviewed The Camp of Saints.  You may want to read it to see the European mass-migration with a full perspective. Here is one quote:
The poor had overrun the earth.  Self-reproach was the order of the day; happiness, a sign of decadence.
If you feel compelled to do something like that fool lady in France, I would suggest you spend your money here.

Saturday Morning Cigar

I burned a Rocky Patel Edge this morning before the summer heat set in.  If there is a better way to start the day, I have yet to find it.

I cleared some tabs in the process (Google Doc):

Glenn Beck, an early owner of Glorious Hat, posted a list on FB of ten new realities in Obama's America.  I anticipate more lists as the election season evolves.  Lists are good.
9. Black lives matter organizer says it is open season on white people and blacks "need to pick them off one by one." TV networks ignore the threats and praise them, democrats meet with them and talk about their bravery.

May God forgive us for our apathy, sloth, self imposed ignorance, and arrogance.
Fred tells us Why They Hate Us.  "They" being the rest of the world.  It isn't just the 'ugly American' stereotype that stacks the deck against us, but some permanent perceptions that will likely never change.  He leaves out the many positive aspects of America to make his point, including the fact that he can live safely in a foreign country and type out and publish his article using American technologies.
My point is not that China is morally superior to the United States. It isn’t. However, if you want to understand why so many countries loathe us, you have to understand how they see us. Whether you agree is irrelevant. Nor does it matter whether their grievances are factual.

Yes, yes, some of that isn’t fair, and an American might ask, for example, how an Arab country, practicing female circumcision and not allowing girls to study, can lecture anyone on morality. I agree. But how they see things determines their attitudes.
Francis Porretto explains why he is bored with recent events in his post, Off The Cuff
I appreciated his comments about the goals of our government schools.
. . . our cycle of birth, growth, maturity, decline, and death is nearing its terminus. There’s nothing for it but to enter “the turd tunnel to oblivion.”

Americans don’t want to believe that this could happen to our own beloved country. No one wants to believe it could happen to his own precious Motherland, Fatherland, or Cis-Questioning But Undecidedly Polymorphous Perverseland. But it can. It’s happening before our eyes. Whether it can be halted is dubious. Even delaying it for a few more decades is open to dispute.

I shouldn’t need to say this, but I must: Watch out for what your kids are being told by others, especially if they’re students in the “public” schools. The schools are indoctrination centers for Postmodern Transnational Morally-Relative All-Cultures-Are-Equally-Valid Government-Uber-Alles poison. Your kids can be turned against you. Indeed, it’s the dearest and most ardently pursued goal of the adversaries of freedom. Don’t let it happen.

Abundance

Socialism is abundance.  If it wasn't, why would we have all this proof?

Our dear leader was at a bakery in Alaska this week.  One of the peoples' many bakeries, stocked fresh and full every day.

Need more proof of prosperity?  Are you an abundance denier?  Are you harping on the fact that we have more unemployed than ever before and $18T in debt?

If so, check out these historical photos of committed communists basking in the glow of their nations' wealth.  And ask yourself, why haven't we seen any photos of Donald Trump shopping for groceries. . .
