We Few, We Happy Few, We Deplorables in a Basket

Hillary said yesterday that half of Trump's supporters are a "basket of deplorables."

Breitbart:
During a fundraiser in New York City Friday evening, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton described half of the Americans supporting Donald Trump as a “basket of deplorables” made up of “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic” people.
Today's quote of the day goes to yours truly.  From a FB discussion on this topic:
It might be easier to call us names than to offer an optimistic plan for America, but we've done this once already. Cruz and his supporters chose to call us "low information voters," "stupid," and other names rather than explain his vision and policies. And if I recall correctly, Trump kicked the living shit out of Cruz.
Few things are as fun as watching a liberal spew "ist" and "ism" charges at an immune audience.

For more, see Thomas Lifson's blog post on this at American Thinker:
It is really stupid to use such a colorful and original expression when insulting voters.  “Basket of deplorables” fits on a bumper sticker.  And the root word “deplore” projects the speaker’s superior status.  Elites “deplore” so many aspects of the common folk in America.  And the common folk know it.  That is why resentment of the elites is such a powerful driver of politics this cycle.
Amazon is already selling "Proud member of the Basket of Deplorables" tshirts!

What a great year!

Parenting in Obama's America

Another Ohio overdose story.  Here is my last post on the topic, from just two weeks ago.

This one from Liverpool Ohio, just across the border from Pittsburgh.

NYPost:  This is what parenting on heroin looks like
An Ohio police department has released jaw-dropping photos of an adult couple who apparently overdosed on heroin in the front seat of an SUV as a 4-year-old boy sat in back.

I have the solution for these cases, as does Phillipine president Duarte.

But apparently this has to happen far more often here in the states before anyone considers my suggestion.

U/T: Liverpool Police Dept, for releasing the photos.  F**k their right to privacy.

Cartoon of the Day, and Quiz!

By Comrade Branco:

A quiz for the Ushanka comrades:
Q: Who is working harder?
1) Hillary on debate prep,
2) Tim Kaine on the post-debate-spin prep,
3) Huma Abedin on the election-day voter-fraud prep, or
4) Hillary's doctors trying to keep her alive through Nov. 8.

Why Voter Fraud?

Why Voter Fraud?  Because this is what Hillary gets at her events.

This photo is from yesterday's event in Kansas City:

Conservative Treehouse has more photos, including photos of the facility workers putting up walls to make it look more crowded.

Don't underestimate the Nov. 8th rush on polling stations by those who forgot their IDs.  Too many have too much to lose.

Quote of the Day

Comrade and Glorious Hat owner, Donald Joy:
CNN desperately trying to make a story out of nothing re Trump/Putin, spending tons of time on nothing, trying to distract from Hillary's total disaster of a foreign policy record and presidential campaign, her feeble and failing health, her blatant lies, her egregious security breaches and high crimes....they're so desperate to avoid reporting on Trump's phenomenal turnouts at rallies, historic primary triumph and grassroots prairie fire popularity ....his sober and sound policy proposals to right this ship....

This Week in Commie News

Cliff Kincaid: Obama Celebrates Slave Labor Day in Red China
Obama, now in Communist China for the G-20 meeting, has accepted a new and improved version of communist disinformation. He wants the American people to believe that the rulers in Beijing are going to comply with a new climate change agreement to restrict their own industries, which drive their military buildup.

Julie Burchill: Why I was wrong to admire Stalin
Still, Stalinism was a good way of chucking cold water on the unbearably twee twitterings about anarchy on the part of my punk compadres – twitterings that seem to me, looking back, to have been an early precursor of identity politics: one big scream of ME, ME, ME from people whose dark secret was/is that they really weren’t/aren’t very interesting.

---

Admirers were always giving me trinkets – communist badges, lovely red ribbons, real Soviet caps. I shudder with nausea when I remember the way I used to admire myself in them, pouting into the mirrors that I snorted speed off of. “I’m a sexy teenage communist!” I would gloat. But I spat blood whenever I saw a fellow punk sporting a swastika. Why? What was the difference? My side had killed 20 million.

Vanity Fair: Brilliant: Kim Jong Un Bans Sarcasm in North Korea
The Independent reports that North Korean party officials held several mass meetings across the country in an attempt to warn citizens that criticizing the state via indirect, ironic statements such as “This is all America’s fault” would be illegal and “unacceptable.” And the consequences for disobeying are particularly unfunny: according to the nonprofit group Liberty in North Korea, any criticism of the government—including, apparently, the North Korean version of “Thanks, Obama”—“is enough to make you and your family ‘disappear’ from society and end up in a political prison camp.”
No Ushanka for you!

NextShark: Man Illegally Documents Trip to North Korea, Smuggles a Ton of Photos Home
North Korea was one of the most fascinating places to visit, but we must not forget that its uniqueness is created by the great suffering inflicted onto North Koreans. Before going, I was worried I would at some point laugh because of its absurdities and get into trouble, but the reality of it was not funny at all, it was disturbing and depressing.

A look back, from Gary Saul Morson.

The house is on fire!  On the hidden horrors of Soviet life.
Contrary to what liberals might presume, Soviet ethics taught one to overcome, not foster, natural sympathy for the suffering of others, which might make one hesitate to kill a class enemy. In November 1918, Felix Dzerzhinsky, founder of the Cheka, published an article in the journal Red Terror in which he instructed:
We are not waging war against individual persons. We are exterminating the bourgeoisie as a class. During the investigation, do not look for evidence that the accused acted in deed or word against Soviet power. The first questions that you ought to put are: To what class does he belong? What is his origin? What is his education or profession? And it is these questions that ought to determine the fate of the accused.
It was no big step to extend the notion of enemy classes to enemy peoples, like the Cossacks, Chechens, or Crimean Tatars.
He mentions two books that I'll be considering:
Jörg Baberowski: Scorched Earth: Stalin’s Reign of Terror

Wolfgang Leonhard: Child of the Revolution

Quote of the Day

Actor James Woods, commenting on Hillary's earpiece in last night's National Security town hall with old-media retread and ally, Matt Lauer:
She can’t even lie without help from a gaggle of other liars through an earpiece.
She literally can’t help herself.
She’s the kind of sociopath who will lie even if the truth were more beneficial.

The most qualified Democrat for the white house - and a former Secretary of State - needs coaching for a discussion on national security.

Isn't it great to get off the subject of Hillary's health?

Wednesday, September 07, 2016

Snot cool. Snot cool at all.

I've been curious why Hillary prefers cups of water to bottles of water.  She had a cup on stage at the Cleveland cough-fest on Monday.  Then, on the plane later, she had a water bottle and traded it for a cup of water.  Why?

Reddit has the answer and the video.  I won't show it.  It is disgusting - NSFW.

I liked this thread from the post:

Everybody has a guess to Hillary's diseases.  It could be "all of the above" once we get the autopsy results.  But until then, only a few are worthy of discussion.  I think this post at Lame Cherry might be on to something:
What the Lame Cherry postulates though is whether it is brain injury, a form of Parkinsons which is not the actual disease, medications or is actually one of the side effects of the stroke, Mrs. Clinton's epiglottis is not functioning and her spit or saliva is leaking into her bronchial tubes.
And to preempt the MSM or others who want to tell me I'm posting too much on Hillary's health and not on more important topics, I say: Hillary has not done a single policy speech or released a single policy paper since she's been nominated.  Her health issues are all we have to talk about because she is riding out the clock - both the election clock, and the grim reaper clock.

Remember: She's Not Sick

In Cleveland today, the most qualified Democrat for president spoke coughed:

Tip. Top. Shape.

MSM Neglect

MSNBC, CNN and the other frauds in the old-media have been focused on one douche-bag football player who decided to take a knee during our anthem in return for his 15-minutes of fame.

Because of this, they were not covering the football game at Creekview High School in Canton GA.  Luckily, a Ushanka Comrade was there to take this shot.

America's youth are our future.  And the future looks good.  Too good, if you're the MSM.

U/T: Donald J. Trump, the patriotic students at Creekview High School, and the new-media.
