Ebola Status

I've moved my Ebola Status spreadsheet to the Obama's Checklist workbook. 

Obama's Checklist is a list of actions and expected actions by the Obama Administration.  It is my way of cutting through all the noise and spin.  It is my way to track our trip on the road to a worker's paradise.

I've updated the Ebola Status sheet.  Ms. Kaci Hickox has been released from NJ's quarantine today.  Also, a 5-year old boy was admitted at Bellevue with symptoms earlier today.  No news yet on the boy's parent(s) or anyone else he came in contact with.  I also added a location column, and a date column that I'll back-fill later.

Question #1:  What kind of parent takes their child to W. Africa during an Ebola outbreak?  A parent like this, perhaps:

Question #2:  Anyone want to take a guess how the Ebola boy's parent(s) vote?

Silencing Critics: Next Steps

As the midterm elections approach, and dire predictions are flooding in for Democrats, all options must be considered. 

Our betters in the FEC are doing just that.

Instead of posting for my three LOYAL readers, I'll go to the local grocery store, while wearing my Commie Obama Hat, and have my say with four shoppers.

Then I'll be banned from the store.  And I'll go to the local park, while wearing my Commie Obama Hat, and share my opinion with five fellow dog-walkers.

Then I'll be banned from the park.  So I'll head over to a local college campus, while wearing my Commie Obama Hat, and discuss my thoughts with six impressionable students. 

Then I'll be banned from the campus.

By this time, following the methods used in the post-Stalin Soviet Union, I'll be deemed mentally unstable and placed into a mental institution.  Yes, while wearing my Commie Obama Hat.  And, learning this from Alexander Solzhenitsyn, I'll discover that my fellow political prisoners and I will have full freedom to spend all day discussing politics and criticizing Liberals Progressives Communists, as there is nothing more the state can do outside of torture or execution.

Like Drudge, my criticisms of my future jailers 

are only known to those who come to my site.

Glenn links to the story of confiscations in Venezuela, and shares this comment:

Reuters:

President Nicolas Maduro's government said on Thursday it had taken over warehouses around Venezuela crammed with medical goods and food that "bourgeois criminals" were hoarding for speculation and contraband.

Remember, "hoarding" is part of the coming political vocabulary.  So is "internal enemies."

Via EatGruelDog, traffic cameras in France are malfunctioning at a high rate, due to errant backhoes and flying paint.

In Lanobre, France, vigilantes knocked over and smashed a speed camera with a backhoe on Wednesday, La Voix du Cantal reported. On Thursday, a camera in Bassignac on the D922 was set on fire with gasoline. In Bores, vigilantes spraypainted a the speed camera on the RD937 white on Saturday. According to La Republique des Pyrenees, this was the tenth attack on the device.

Al Sharpton should retract his suggestion that 'resistance we much.'

You'll NEVER hear me suggest damaging government property is the proper way to express yourself, or how to push back on tyranny.

Iowa Senate candidate, Joni Ernst, was correct to say the Second Amendment gives her the right to defend herself and family against an intruder or a tyrannical government.  The Second Amendment was written and passed after the colonials waged war on their government, under the leadership of George Washington.  It was second only to the freedom of speech and religion to the founders.  A+ for creative writing.  F for failing, or choosing to ignore, the origin of the greatest lines ever written.

That means the disease overwhelmed the 1700 beds US troops are building by mid-November (over a time span of two months) in just the first 14 days of September. Even with the 70-90% Ebola death rate helping us, with the true increase being 2-3 times that speed of spread, WE CAN NEVER, EVER CATCH UP.

So every day we keep our troops there, they become less relevant, and more at risk, with the crisis point guaranteed to be reached, and the eventual compromise of their health and safety, or both, a virtual certainty. We're trying to put out a forest fire with a bucket brigade, and it's going to fall on us. (Most specifically, it's going to fall on 300-3000 American troops in way over their heads. The service chiefs who haven't resigned over this and gone public are dickless, spineless, brainless wonders of selfish careerism, and deserving of nothing but contempt.)

An Obama voter is upset she is held in quarantine after returning to the US from Sierra Leone.

Kaci Hickox, an Obama voter and nurse, has no problem putting Americans at risk.

Her expectations to return from Sierra Leone and move freely among us outweigh her duty to her country to behave responsibly.  Like stay in Sierra Leone.

I doubt she feels any duty to any of us.  Judging from the other Obama voters either infected or suspected of infection, Ms. Kaci Hickox already jumped on public transportation.  Perhaps she planning a romantic rendezvous after dinner out?

Worse, her Egocentric, Boorish, Opprobrious, Loutish and Abusive instincts have compelled her to complain in The Dallas News about the quarantine treatment in New Jersey.

I am scared about how health care workers will be treated at airports when they declare that they have been fighting Ebola in West Africa. I am scared that, like me, they will arrive and see a frenzy of disorganization, fear and, most frightening, quarantine.

Fuck.  You.  Bitch.

How about being scared of health workers returning to the US?  How's that for fear?  Notice the Occupation column in the spreadsheet above?  Ms. Kaci Hickox belongs to the highest risk group out there, and she's upset we want her to keep to herself for a while to prove she's not infected?  What do they teach in nursing school these days?  How to run a union meeting?

A rare and hearty Ushanka Tip goes out to NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo and NJ Gov Chris Christie for ignoring the federal government and the CDC and setting their own common sense standards.  Their move to quarantine those who've worked with Ebola patients in Africa, while late, is a welcome act by local politicians.  I understand Illinois has also enacted quarantine rules.

What about the other governors?  Do the other 47 states care about their citizens?  Do they care about the costs associated with just one Ebola patient in their state?

Ebola isn't the problem.  

Inconsiderate liberals with Ebola are the problem.

Here is the real fear we must prepare for:  When Ebola makes the jump from liberals to conservatives.  When nice, respectful, considerate families get the virus, it is time to panic.

It turns out that Kaci Hickox is a registered democrat and Obama supporter who works for the CDC. “The nurse currently quarantined in New Jersey is an employee for the Centers for Disease Control and a registered Democrat with a history of left-wing advocacy,” reports GotNews.com.

Ushanka Tips for Governors Cuomo and Christie above have been redistributed.  Both men folded within 24 hours of enacting common sense quarantine programs to protect their citizens.  More at Daily Mail.
